Maintaining SILENCE in the library is compulsory.

Students using the library are prohibited from engaging in conversation and are not supposed to disturb or distract the attention of the readers.

Please sign in the “Student Entry Register” as soon as you enter the Library.

Books taken for reading from Open Racks and Bureaus should be replaced back in the same place.

The arrangement of books should not be disturbed.

All Periodicals are to be referred in the library only.

Please enter the details of the Periodicals in the “Periodical Reference Register”.

Periodicals taken for reading should be replaced back in the prescribed place.

Newspapers are arranged date wise; they should be replaced back in the same date wise order only.

Books will be issued on the student’s card only; she cannot borrow books on her friend’s card.

Books can be borrowed for a period of 14 days. This period can be extended for a period of another 14 days provided another student has not requested the same book.

Books borrowed are the responsibility of the student, if lost or found in torn condition the student is required to replace the books or pay 3 times the cost of the book.

If Library card is lost by students they can get a duplicate card by paying Rs. 50/- per card.

Students can reserve for a book if the books is not available on the shelf by entering details of the book in the “Book Reservation Register”. The book will be issued to them once the book is returned by another the student.

Please note that you have to collect the reserved books within 2 days failing which it will be given to next person reserving the same book.

Students can give their suggestions for effective functioning of the library. Please write them in the “Suggestion Register”.

Book Bank facility is available for Economically Weak Students only.

Please switch off the fan before leaving the library.

Kindly do not disturb the arrangement of table & chairs.

Please leave your bags, Foot wear and other belongings in the space provided for the same.

Kindly avoid keeping the cash and costly items with you when you come to the library.
